Chapter Ten “Look’s like we’ve got the annoying little thing by herself. What shall we do now?” Sailor Lead Crow asked, “Attack all at once, or let her linger for a while?” “Attack all at once!” Sailor Aluminum Sire, Sailor Tin Nyanko, and Sailor Iron Mouse shouted in unison. The Anima Mates appeared in front of Sailor Moon as she walked on through the series of cliffs. “What do you want?!” She shouted to them. “Oh nothing much, just your life!” Sailor Iron Mouse said sweetly. “Well, I’m sorry, but you’re not entitled to it. Only I am!” Sailor Moon retorted. “Oh! Well, when we’re done with you, you’ll be thinking of something different!” Sailor Tin Nyanko shouted. The Anima Mates wound up. Pressure Bomb! Sailor Moon was blasted back into a slab of stone. She struggled to get back up, blood trickling form her head. “I won’t let you do this!” she said forcefully, “There are too many people counting on me!” “Too bad you’re going to let them down!” Sailor Aluminum Sire said. Pressure Guns! The four shot their guns and blue beams of light came out, striking Sailor Moon. She lay on the ground, fighting to stay conscious. Mina-chan, I need you here. Why aren’t you here to help me? Usagi thought. Please, I need your help. I can’t do this alone. Where are you? “We’re right here, Sailor Moon,” Sailor Moon heard Sailor Mercury’s voice. “Sailor Mercury?” Sailor Moon asked. A hazy image of Sailor Mercury appeare din front of her, “I’m always going to be with you, Sailor Moon. We’re in this until the end.” “Yeah, Usagi-chan. You can’t get rid of us that easy,” the spirit of Sailor Mars appeared next to Sailor Mercury. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune appeared, “We’ll always be here to lend you our powers, Princess,” Sailor Neptune said. Sailor Saturn and Sailor Pluto appeared, “Don’t cry princess,” Sailor Saturn said, “You have to be strong.” “I know you can do this, Princess,” Sailor Pluto said. Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Chibi Moon appeared. “Sailor Moon, get it together. You didn’t become Sailor Moon to cry like a baby,” Sailor Chibi Moon said. Sailor Jupiter hit Sailor Chibi Moon lightly on the head, “Sailor Moon, we’ll lend you our powers. You can beat all of them, you know it.” “Bring peace back to this world!” Sailor Venus exclaimed. Sailor Comet, Sailor Celestial, Sailor Cheron, and Sailor Sun’s spirits appeared. “Sailor Moon, get up and fight. This is your mission!” Sailor Celestial said. Sailor Moon stood shakily, “Alright,” she said softly to the spirits of her dead friends. She pointed her staff at the Anima Mates who looked shocked. “This one is for my friends!” she exclaimed. Silver Moon Crystal Power! Sailor Moon poured her life force into the staff. It began to glow, and shot a large white light at the Anima Mates. “Ha! Is that all you can do?!” Sailor Iron Mouse asked. “Please, ginzuishou, help me bring everyone back to life!” Sailor Moon pleaded. The beam from her staff grew stronger. Pressure Bomb! The Anima Mates attack, partial destroyed Sailor Moon’s beam, and they began gaining ground. “Everyone, help Sailor Moon!” The spirit of Sailor Mercury shouted. Mercury Crystal Power! Mars Crystal Power! Jupiter Crystal Power! Venus Crystal Power! Moon Prism Power! Uranus Crystal Power! Neptune Crystal Power! Pluto Crystal Power! Saturn Crystal Power! Sun Galaxy Power! Cheron Galaxy Power! Celestial Galaxy Power! Comet Galaxy Power! Sailor moon renewed her attack. Silver Moon Crystal Power! The beam turned into a rainbow color, and severely blasted the Anima Mates. “No, you can’t do this!” They shouted. “This is all your fault, Nyanko!” Sailor Lead Crow said. “My fault! I think not! I count this as your fault!” The Anima Mates bickered among themselves as they disintegrated. Soon all that was left was the echo of their evil voices. Sailor Moon dropped to the ground, completely exhausted. “Mina-chan, you’re all safe now. Mamo-chan...I miss you...” Sailor Moon’s body went limp and lifeless as her eyes hollowed. The colored life flowers returned to all of the senshi. One by one, they were slowly revived as the flowers floated back into their bodies. The senshi trekked to where Sailor Moon’s dead body lay. “We have to say her! To save us, she paid her own life!” Sailor Mars cried. “Maybe if we combine our powers once more, it will give her life, and she will be resurrected,” Sailor Pluto said. “It’s worth a try,” Sailor Comet said. Mercury Crystal Power! Mars Crystal Power! Jupiter Crystal Power! Venus Crystal Power! Moon Prism Power! Uranus Crystal Power! Neptune Crystal Power! Pluto Crystal Power! Saturn Crystal Power! Sun Galaxy Power! Cheron Galaxy Power! Celestial Galaxy Power! Comet Galaxy Power! As the senshi held hands and shouted out their power, their hair shot straight up into the air. Their powers seemed to seep into Sailor Moon, and her eyes came back to life. “Mina?” She whispered, “You...you all saved me?” “Of course, Usagi-chan! What would we do without you?” Sailor Mars said. Sailor Moon smiled, and stood. The tower morphed once again, back into it’s original state, the exit right in front of the senshi. “What do you guys say? let’s go home,” Sailor Moon said. The fourteen senshi un-transformed and walked out of the building, arms linked. Setsuna, Hotaru, Michiru, and Haruka had branched off of the group as they approached the newly rebuilt Mugen High School. The other ten walked down to the Jyuban shopping district, and to the Crown game center, despite Hime’s protests. The lights were out inside the game center, but the girls entered anyway. The center was deserted, and there was an eerie silence. “Where do you suppose Motoki-san is?” Ami asked. Makoto recoiled in horror. “Makoto-san, what’s wrong?” Sakura asked. She pointed into the corner, where Motoki lay in a heap, dead. “Motoki-kun!” Hime cried. Everyone looked down. Hime rushed over to Motoki and turned him over onto his back. She shook him, “Motoki-kun, wake up, wake up! Can’t you hear me?” Motoki remained limp. “Perhaps if I...” Hime said to herself. She leaned over and kissed him. A yellow beam of light surrounded the two, and shined so brightly that it made the two invisible to the others. When the light ended, the room seemed incredibly dark. Hime stared intensely at Motoki, wishing him to come back to life. His eyelids fluttered, and Hime smiled. He fully opened his eyes and looked around, confused. “Hime-chan? What are you doing here?” “My friends and I walked by and say you lying in a heap in the corner. I came over to see if you were alright,” Hime replied. “But after all I did to you? After all of the pain that I caused you?” “Pain can’t cast a shadow over true love for long,” Hime said warmly. “You mean...” “I love you, Motoki-kun, with all of my heart, and nothing is going to change that ever again.” Motoki sat up and hugged her tightly. The others tiptoed out of the game center. “It just goes to show that love overcomes all obstacles that try to take it down,” Sakura said. “I guess so,” Minako said in a dreamy voice. “What’s going to happen if there are anymore enemies that come around?” Ritsuko asked. “let’s not worry about any new enemies,” Usagi said. She put her arms around Rei and Ami, and gave them a one-armed hug. “Let’s just be happy now, the way that we are.”
